Fernando Kleiman is a Federal Civil Servant (permanent staff) from the Ministry of Economy and has worked in different ministries from the Brazilian Government. He has performed different roles in public service such as being Chief of Staff from Paul Singer in the former Ministry of Labor (2004-2008), Special Advisor to the Minister Tereza Campello at the Ministry of Social Development (2012-2015), Chief of Deputy Chambers team at the National Presidency (2015-2016) and supported the creation of GNOVA (Public Policy Innovation Lab) at the National School for Public Administration. He has a Bsc in Economics (University of São Paulo - USP), Msc in sociology (University of Brasília - UnB) and used to teach political sciences (Centro Universitário do Distrito Federal - UniDF). He is a PhD Candidate on Systems Engineering at TUDelft (The Netherlands) where he is researching the use of a game (https://wdgame.home.blog/) to infleunce civil servants' attitudes towrds the openinig of governmental data. He has published several papers on Open Data, Serious Gaming, Solidarity Based Economy and Social Policies.
